VR user interface
After working together at MetaLab, I began working with Dan Mazig and Brilliant Studio in 2018 on the designs for AllSeated’s new VR product. Built in Unity, it would bring the grandest hotels to life for event planning like never seen before.
We began with the product design, creating 2D and 3D prototypes along the way, to optimise the designs for VR.
To welcome users to the space they’re greeted with a sunrise and birdsong. As the scene loads, a silhouette of a forest scape outside gets brighter, while the hall illuminates with shafts of light from the rising sun.
The UI is controlled using the Oculus controller and was intentionally kept large and simple for the target audience.
3D modelling
As part of the project I was tasked with the design and 3D modelling of a grand lobby environment, where users could select a hotel from the floating interface in front of them.
The logo was then converted to 3D, so it could rotate as a simple custom loading graphic.
Desktop UI
Alongside the VR app, we were tasked with refreshing the user interface for the web app. The UI design system transferred across both apps, keeping familiarity across the platform.

We then integrated 3D into the web version, allowing users to get an immersive experience of the grand hotel environments they’re planning in.
AllSeated started rolling out their VR products in 2019 and was later acquired by Cvent in April 2025. You can see more designs in our dribbble project.
