In early 2013 I was contacted by the team at Open Ticket to help them visualise and launch a travel planning and booking app for the web. They requested everything a new startup could require, including branding, user interface designs and working front-end prototypes.
Diving into the user experience first, we created a responsive, mobile-first layout that would let users quickly navigate and plan their routes on any device. Prototypes were then created from the designs to show the responsive layouts in action.
Alongside the user interface and prototypes I began working on the branding concepts. Designed to complement and work with the user interface, the branding had to stand out while working in a variety of use cases, including printed materials as well as on smaller screens.
